We're looking forward to welcoming you to the new season at Croxley Green Community Club from 8pm TONIGHT.
It may have been the summer holidays but our committee have been working hard to plan an exciting season of photographic talks, workshops and events for the next few months.
Tonight is our first meeting of the season and a great opportunity to find out what's coming up, and to get to know your fellow club members as we launch our inaugural Welcome Evening Quiz - aka Pointless Photographers, Who Want's to Be a Photographer? or Who's Camera is it Anyway? (suggestions for better names on a postcard please!).
Before the Quiz starts, our Chairman Steve Bailey will be introducing the season, letting you know what's coming up and how you can get involved. The rest of the committee will also tell you about the exciting camera club projects that we've been working on over the summer.
We'll also be asking you to Show Us Your Summer - so bring along your favourite 3 images and tell us why you like them. They could be pictures from your holidays, or you could get creative and tell us a story through your images. Your images can be on a USB memory stick, or printed. They don't need to be competition standard size or quality, just some pictures you've enjoyed taking over the summer break.
We also want to display some images on the night, so bring along some prints and we'll put them up around the hall.

Thank you to everyone who came along to our photowalk on Croxley Moor last month.
Our photographers could be seen snapping away at Croxley Common Moor Lock in the morning, and then they followed their walk with a cuppa and a well-earned piece of cake at The Kitchen.
Thanks to Rod Lacey for sending us these lovely images of the moor.
A huge thanks to everyone who attended our latest portrait social with fitness & beauty model, Eliza Watson.
The sessions are a great way to improve your portrait photography skills and to get to know other members of the club. We're be planning some more portrait socials in September and October.
