This Week... Macro and Creative Techniques
with John Humphrey
We are thrilled to be welcoming John Humphrey FRPS back to Croxley this week.
John specialises in close-up and macro photography and creative art photography, and is a Fellow of the Royal Photographic Society.
He is an experienced speaker and presents RPS workshops on Macro Photography, Advanced Photoshop, and Creative Art Photography. His work has been in many exhibitions including the International Print and Projected Image Exhibitions of the RPS and the London Salon Annual Exhibitions.
This week, he'll be presenting a review of the techniques and equipment required for high-magnification photography and details on creative techniques for photography in general.

XRR Visions
What are your very best images of last season? It's a good time to be thinking about selecting your three best images for entry into XRR's annual projected image trophy competition.
Croxley will be host to Buckingham, Ealing and Hampshire House, and Oxford in the first round of the CACC Rosebowl Inter-club competition.
Please come along to welcome our visitors and support your club.

Print Competition

Entry Deadline: 23:59 on Saturday 10th November
Members can submit up to 3 images in each competition.
Please ensure that you put the images into the order in which you want them to appear - if the competition is over-subscribed we may have to drop your 3rd and 2nd choices.
Entries should be made through our new Photo Entry web portal - full details are in the updated competition handbook
Printed images should be at least 7"x 5" and be mounted securely onto card. Make sure your uploaded images match the prints you bring along on the night of the competition and that you have your name and the title of the image clearly written on the back of your cardboard mount.
Club meetings are held at 7:45pm each Thursday (except August)
at Croxley Green Community Centre, which is at the end of Community Way
