This Week...
Depth of Field Workshop
Our theme this month will be exploring depth of field in photography. We'll be replicating the old masters with a still life image with everything in focus, and we'll be creating abstract images by reducing our depth of field.

Please bring some props for the still life - flowers, fruit, candlesticks, pottery, jugs etc. anything which would be suitable for an old master!

Don't forget to bring your cameras too!
Gordon's winning print is a fine example of using light painting in a darkened to create the look of a painting with everything in focus.
The new Croxley Camera Club website is now live! Take a look at what's changed by clicking here.

A big THANK YOU to everyone who braved the arctic conditions to take part in our portrait social this weekend.

Our members and model Ria braved the cold in Cassiobury Park to capture some stunning images.

As you can see from the behind-the-scenes shots, freezing cold water means nothing to us in the pursuit of a great image!

The results for the PAGB GB Club have been published.

Croxley scored 96 points overall, putting us a disappointing joint 45th. However, we scored 4 more points than our rivals at Park Street and 6 more points than our friends Niton & District on the Isle of Wight, so it wasn't all bad!

Top scorer for Croxley was Jim Forder's "Trapped in a Lift" which scored a very respectable 12 points.
