Summer's here!

We may be on a break from our regular Thursday night meetings but there's still plenty of camera club activities to keep you busy through the next month.
Snap Chatters
Saturday 29th June

Join us for a cuppa, a cake, and some photography chat from 10:30 until midday at The Kitchen on Watford Road.

Thank you to everyone who helped out on our stall at The Revels last weekend, and a big HELLO to those of you who signed up to our emails.

Our favourite image of the day goes to Gordon Calder, with his high-speed capture of the Taikwondo school in action.
This was closely followed by Neil Hamilton's wide-angle view of the Brownies doing the maypole dancing.

Both are eye catching images, giving us a dynamic perspective on the events. You can see more of our images from the day on the Croxley Revels Facebook page.
Meanwhile, over on the Croxley Camera Club stall, members of the public were asked to pick their favourite image from our gallery. I'm pleased to announce that Anthony Highet's "The Door to Tranquility" was the clear winner.

Photo Scavenger Hunt

Over the summer, we'd like you to hunt down and photograph these things. Some will be easy to find close to home, others might need you to go further afield. They were all drawn at random from suggestions from members.

Animal Eyes
A Boat or Ship
Beach Object
People in Uniform
Bridge
Old Metal Object
Ruins
Hats

Sunglasses

We'll be taking a look at your images on our first meeting back on Thursday 5th September.

Existing members can upload images through Photo Entry, or you can bring them along on an USB stick. Just 1 image per subject please, so 10 images in total.

There will be prizes for anyone who completes the set and our Chairman will pick his favourite image on the night - happy hunting!
While you're out and about over the summer, why not take some images for our set subject competitions and trophies?
