This Week... Printing Workshop

Steve and Ant will be helping us learn more about printing our images. Plus an informal advice session for new members on how to get ready for competitions. Bring some images or prints/mountboard and our experienced members will be on hand to offer advice.

London Fashion Week

A really big thank you to our photographers that came into London for our 'Intro to Street Portraiture Workshop' at London Fashion Week.

It was great to see everyone enjoying themselves and getting involved with all the wonderful characters that the event had to offer, the images everyone came away with look wonderful.

Needless to say, we'll be doing it again next season!

Rudi Meta wins the prize for capturing the most extreme costume of the day!

Our photographers thoroughly enjoyed the day so much some of them even went back on Sunday!

The Societies of Photographers would like to invite the members of Croxley Camera Club to attend our next photographic roadshow in Watford on Thursday 17th October.

These roadshows are the perfect opportunity to catch up with the latest products and services from the trade and gain education from a series of talks.

You can attend these days free of charge and they are open to members and non-members alike.

Autumn Social

An opportunity to talk about your images or your favourite photographic techniques. Bring along some photos to share from your recent photo adventures including our trip to London Fashion Week, our studio sessions and the portrait socials.

24th October
Print Competition: Open & "People at Work"

31st October
Spooky Studio

We experiment with a Halloween themed studio evening. Bring along a jack-o-lantern, fake spiders, vampires, ghosts or ghouls. Don't forget your camera!

Each member can enter up to 2 images in each competition.

Please upload your images through our Photo Entry online portal by 23:59 on Saturday 21st September.

Full rules are available in the updated version of our Competitions Handbook. Pick up your copy when you pay your subs.

A reminder from our Treasurer that subscriptions are due at the start of the season.

Cheques are preferred. Please give your subs to Rod Lacey along with a completed membership form.
