Chair<\/strong>: George Purchase<\/p>\n\n\n\n George joined the club in 2017 and took over the Vice Chair role from John Flynn in 2021, then succeeded Steve Bailey as Chair in 2023. George is a Nikon shooter and will take a picture of anything. George’s Bio is here<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Vice Chair<\/strong>: Steven Meekins<\/p>\n\n\n\n Steven joined the club in 2023 and took up the role of Vice Chair from Rod Lacey at the start\u00a0of the 2025-26 season. He enjoys most genres of photography, particularly landscape and\u00a0still life. Steven’s Bio is here<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Treasurer: <\/strong>Tim Cosgrove<\/p>\n\n\n\n Tim joined the club three years ago when he found he had more time to enjoy his hobby after retirement. He became Treasurer last season and is pleased to play a part in the club’s development. Like George, he will take a picture of anything and is always keen to experiment but he prefers ad hoc shooting rather than still life.<\/em> Tim’s Bio is here<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Secretary<\/strong>: Vanessa Lacey<\/p>\n\n\n\n Vanessa joined the club in 2017 and specialises in producing competition winning images from a compact camera. Vanessa is also our endlessly accommodating internal competition secretary. Vanessa’s Bio is here<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Communications & Social Media<\/strong> Secretary<\/strong>: Anthony Highet<\/p>\n\n\n\n Anthony joined the club in 2016 and specialises in fashion portrait photography. Anthony is a Sony shooter but also dips his toe into medium format film photography. Anthony’s Bio is here<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Membership Secretary<\/strong>: Alan Rhodes<\/p>\n\n\n\n Alan joined the club in 2019 and also specialises in portrait photography. Alan is a Sony shooter.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n External Competition Secretary<\/strong>: Ian Bennell<\/p>\n\n\n\n Ian joined Croxley in 2016 following time at Potters Bar, Watford and Hemel Hempstead camera clubs. Originally (and still) a film photographer using Mamiya 645 and 6×7 cameras, and before that Canon 35mm SLRs, but now using mainly Canon digital. External Competition Secretary since 2022. Particularly keen on portrait, macro, wildlife and sports photography, but will shoot almost anything if it appears in front of the camera.<\/em> Ian’s Bio is here<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n Committee Member<\/strong>: Margaret Pereira<\/p>\n\n\n\n Margaret joined the club in 2019 and the Committee in 2023.
