In order to enable sufficient meaningful critique from our visiting Judge Steven Galvin, the numbers were reduced to 32 in the open and 29 in the set subject, a total of 61, giving each author their first choice in each competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The competitions provided some Interesting Images in particular the set subject with the various interpretations of \u2018heat\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It was great to see a number of our newer members scoring high in both competitions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Steve<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Our final PDI league competitions of the year, with \u2018open\u2019 and set subject \u2018heat\u2019 were held this week.
