The New 2021/22 Season is Almost Here!

Yeah!

We’re back, after our first break since Covid began!

We hope everyone is well, have had a good rest and are now raring to go for our new season starting on Thursday 2nd September.

As always we have a great season programme lined up, with something for everyone. Most importantly this season we are ready to move back to face to face meetings in the community centre hall. Obviously it’s Important we do that in a responsible manner for everyone’s safety, unfortunately Covid cases are still very much in the headlines. Naturally we all have a role to play in ensuring we act responsibly when we meet.

To that end our first two meetings will still be on Zoom, with our first hall meeting on 16th September which will be our Awards from last season presentation night. A great opportunity for everyone to catch up together and congratulate the successful authors on their achievements.

Our first meeting this Thursday will be our delayed AGM. Please tune in on Zoom for the proceedings that help shape the clubs direction. It’s every members club and therefore it’s very Important we are all in tune with the current details and future aims by attending the meeting.

Despite everything else that is currently going on the world, we intend to have a really enjoyable season and provide plenty of inspiration to all. It will be great to get back together again. We realise that Zoom meetings weren’t for everyone and we hope that returning to the hall will reunite our full membership again.

Let’s get those creative juices flowing again, with our friendly like minded people, who appreciate each other’s art. Let’s continue our growing reputation in the Camera Club World by our ever Improving photography produced by our talented membership. Let’s make Thursday nights Camera Club night!

Look forward to seeing you on Thursday. Steve

I’ve had feedback that posting the Club’s newsletters on the blog makes it hard find old ones. So I’ve added a link to the website’s main menu which takes you directly to the newsletter archive.
